The chart below shows the value of one country's exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category or export in 2016 compared with 2015.

 

The bar graph and table data depict the export earnings of a country between 2015 and 2016. Where the bar graph depicts the amount of export in each category in billions of dollars, the table presents the change in the export quantity in 2016 compared to 2015.

Overall, the main items for export were petroleum products, engineering goods, gems and jewellery, agricultural products and textiles for the country. The country's export in 2016 increased in all the categories except for gems and jewellery while the highest increase was for textile products.

Starting with petroleum products which earned the highest export earning for the country of about 60 billion dollars in 2015 which further increased by 3% to approximately 62 billion in 2016. The engineered goods on the other hand earned 58 billion dollars in 2015 which also went up by 8.5% to about 61 billion. Conversely, the gems and jewellery category dropped by 5.18% from 42 billion dollars in 2015 to 40 billion in the upcoming year. Although, The agricultural products marked a slight increase of 30 billion in 2015 and 31 billion in the next year 2016. Lastly, the textile products marked the highest uplift of 15.24% than the previous year which was 28 billion in 2015 to 31 billion in 2016.
