The given illustration depicts how cement and concrete are produced.

Overall, the equipment used to make cement is a crusher that has rollers, a mixer which is connected to a rotating heater via a narrow pipe, a grinder and some bags for packaging. The machine which is used to form concrete is called the concrete mixer.

For the production of cement, some crushed limestone and a small part of clay are put in a crusher which converts this mixture into a fine powder. This is then given to the mixer which further mixes this combination of limestone and clay. Then this mixture goes to a rotating heater which rotates while fire is burnt underneath. Once this combination is heated, it is then put in the grinder which grinds the mixture into very small particles that eventually form cement which is one of the key ingredients in the production of concrete.

On the other hand, concrete is formed by taking small amounts of cement and water approximately 15% and 10% respectively. Then 25% of sand is needed with 50% of gravel which is basically small stones. All these ingredients are put in a concrete mixer which rotates and thereby mixes everything and forms concrete.
