Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this letter in reference to our college cafeteria. All of us eat at this place almost every day and I must say that the place is great, however, I really feel that few improvements are necessary to keep up with the rising expectations of both current and new students.

The main problem with the café is in the food which is served to all the customers. First of all, the choice of items in the Ala Carte menu are very limited and the foreign students like myself often feel the need of some international cuisines as well, apart from the traditional French fries, burgers, hot dogs and nuggets. It would be wonderful if quick and easy dishes like curries, sandwiches, burritos or omelettes could be added to the menu since they are both healthy & do not take much preparation time which is quite crucial in the college canteen.

Secondly, the current prices of the menu items are slightly on the higher side after the recent price hike done by the vendor. Due to this, the students who work part time along with their academics feel more stressed while eating at this area as they earn only a limited amount of money and need to pay rents and other important expenses as well.

I am pretty sure that if they offer wider variety in the food choices along with economical pricing, the students will continue to enjoy their meals and have a happy college life before entering their professional life span.
